Sponsorship: A Celebration of Cecil Gale's Architecture
Show your support for heritage conservation in Santa Monica!

Mary Ann Hays and Tom Cleys invite you to an evening with the Conservancy and a house tour, featuring a stunning example of Cecil Gale’s work. Stacey Ravel Abarbanel will describe the enduring legacy of Los Angeles developer Cecil Gale, who built many homes in Santa Monica and beyond between the 1930s and 1950s. Known for his distinctive Spanish Colonial, Monterey Colonial, and Tudor Revival designs, Gale’s homes are celebrated for their charming details— ornate archways, intricate plasterwork, stained glass, and picturesque gables.
